How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your online profile and all associated server-side data directly from the Barry Counter app. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Barry Counter app Launch the app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Sign in Make sure you are signed in with Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). You can sign in from the Friends tab or by tapping your profile icon.
  3. Open the profile menu Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select "Delete Profile" In the dropdown menu, tap "Delete Profile".
  5. Confirm deletion A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap "Delete" to permanently remove your online profile and data from our servers.

What Data is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Deleted immediately

Data type Status
User profile (username, country, platform) Deleted
Profile picture Deleted
Leaderboard scores Deleted
Friend connections and requests Deleted
Firebase authentication account Deleted

Kept on your device

Data type Status
Count entries (your daily tallies) On-device only
Daily limits On-device only
Reminders On-device only
App preferences (selected brand, gender) On-device only
Note: Count entries, limits, reminders, and preferences are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. This data is not affected by account deletion. To remove it, uninstall the app.

Data Retention

All server-side data listed above is deleted immediately upon confirmation. There is no additional retention period. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.

If you sign in again after deleting your account, a new profile will be created automatically with your current Game Center or Google Play Games display name.
