1.1 Information from Game Services

Barry Counter integrates with platform-specific game services for social features:

• iOS: Apple Game Center
• Android: Google Play Games

When you sign in with your platform's game service, we receive:

• Player ID: A unique identifier assigned by the game service (Game Center Player ID on iOS, Google Play Games Player ID on Android)
• Display Name: Your game service username
• Profile Photo: Your game service profile image (automatically synced)
• Friends List: Your game service friends who also use Barry Counter

1.2 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

• Counter entries and statistics
• Scores and achievements
• App interaction data (features used, session duration)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• IP address (for security and regional functionality)

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate Barry Counter. Each service may collect data as described below:

2.1 Google Firebase

We use Google Firebase, a platform provided by Google LLC, for various backend services. Firebase is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The Firebase services we use include:

2.3 Google Play Games (Android)

On Android, we use Google Play Games for leaderboards, achievements, and social features. Google processes this data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• With Other Users: Your display name, profile photo, and scores may be visible to your game service friends who use Barry Counter
• Service Providers: With Google Firebase, Apple (iOS), and Google Play Games (Android) as described above

5. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States where Google's servers are located.

• Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
• Counter Entries: Retained until you delete them or your account
• Analytics Data: Retained for up to 14 months (Firebase Analytics default)
• Profile Images: Retained until updated or account deleted

Barry Counter is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
